The page needs to be improved, but it is definitely the case that Tim Sweeney is a major figure in the game industry, comparable to John Carmack. Here are some articles about him and photos:

There is a Tim Sweeney archive (containing interviews and web postings). 91.85.179.130 (talk) 09:32, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not the best link that I can find. Sure if I spent more time... I could. Reference "http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55996". I was there when he was the guest speaker at the Wake-Tech Digital Game Xpo. I attended the college. Better link. This article does really need to be improved, and he is indeed a major figure in the game industry. Awards have already been added. Hakken (talk) 18:35, 5 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Article states (per source cited) that he grew up there, but no reference indicates his birthplace. LizardJr8 (talk) 23:42, 1 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
